The Role

Stanley Black and Decker is seeking a Director Advanced Methods and Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE). In this role you will be a strategic leader responsible for driving the vision development and execution of advanced methods and CAE initiatives across the organization. This role ensures the integration of advanced simulation modeling and analysis technologies to support product innovation quality and operational efficiency. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record and team leadership. Youll get to :

• Lead the central Engineering CAE department setting strategic direction and overseeing all simulation modeling and analysis activities.
• Collaborate with all global R&D centers engineering product development and manufacturing teams to integrate CAE methodologies into the product lifecycle.
• Develop and implement best practices standards and processes for CAE across multiple business units.
• Explore identify evaluate and drive adoption of new CAE tools and methodologies to maintain competitive advantage with the latest cutting-edge technologies.
• Manage and mentor a team of CAE engineers and analysts fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Oversee resource allocation budgeting and project prioritization within the CAE function.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Build partnerships with external vendors academic institutions national labs and technology providers.
• Present technical findings & strategic recommendations to executive leadership & stakeholders.

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $131300 - 201500.00 per year . Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and / or other benefits dependent on the position offered.
