Field service technician

job summary:
Industrial machinery manufacturer in Oklahoma City is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and electro-mechanical equipment, have familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and reading schematics, and be able to travel up to 75% both nationally and internationally. responsibilities:

• Travel to customer sites to install, operate, troubleshoot and repair various machinery and equipment, up to 75% travel across the US and internationally
  
  
• Troubleshoot PLCs and be able to read schematics
  
  
• Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders, planning daily travel schedule, investigating complaints and conducting tests to resolve equipment issues
  
  
• Read and interpret blueprints / diagrams to select, position and secure machinery
  
  
• Provide service by studying system requirements and gathering components and parts to complete installation
  
  
• Document service and complete reports to maintain database

Requirements:

• Excellent electromechanical skills required; ability to troubleshoot Hydraulic, Electrical and Mechanical issues
  
  
• Ability to analyze and evaluate equipment operating systems
  
  
• Professionalism to interact with customers and attention to quality
  
  
• Ability to travel up to 75%
  
  
• PLC experience
