FTE : Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Pay : $22.14 - $28.78 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary :

Operates specialized ophthalmic equipment at a novice level (assessed by unit). Performs ophthalmic imaging procedures at a novice level (assessed by unit).

Responsibilities :

• Under direct supervision of an eye care provider, assists with performing patient care and patient flow.
• Under direct supervision of an eye care provider : Performs diagnostic imaging and testing. Administers intravenous agents in preparation for retinal angiography. Performs clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area.
• Provides documentation, patient education and enters charges.
• Performs clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
