Proficiency in ICD-10-CM / PCS, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Are you a meticulous and experienced Inpatient Facility Medical Coder looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a dedicated professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team with the option to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities :
- Accurately code inpatient medical records using ICD-10-CM / PCS, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and procedures to ensure accurate coding.
- Review and resolve coding edits and denials.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulatory changes.
