Concrete Foundation Specialist

Responsible for the installation of concrete foundations and formed concrete walls.

Study plans and sketches for information pertaining to type of material required such as lumber and concrete form systems.

Hand-set forms and / or assemble the gang forms.

Shoot grades and elevations.

Unload, handle, stockpile, and erect pre-fabricated materials.

Concrete and rough carpentry.

Hand Set Plywood Formed Walls.

Install Plywood Footing Forms.

Assemble and Set Symons Forms.

Fabricate and Install Concrete Edge Form / Decking Blockouts / Hanging Sides.

Assemble and Set Gang Wall Forms.

Rig and Signal Crane and Forklift Operators.

Install Form Scaffold.

Climb Gang Form Walls and Climb Reinforcing Steel.

Install Concrete Wall Embeds, Blockouts, Bulkheads.

Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.

All other duties as assigned.

Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.

Ability to picture solid objects from drawings or diagrams.

Strong teamwork orientation.

Positive attitude and professional customer service skills.

Detail orientation.

Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback.

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum of ten years of experience as a carpenter.

Trade or technical school certification / diploma is a plus.
