Electrical Engineer

Overview: Client is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to oversee product quality, compliance, and production standards. The role focuses on ensuring reliability and adherence to specifications for low-voltage (up to 5kV) switchboard systems through inspection, documentation, and process improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC within electrical manufacturing or power distribution. Knowledge of IEEE, IEC, and NEMA standards. Expertise in design review, inspection techniques, and process compliance. Strong analytical and communication skills. Quality certifications (Six Sigma, ASQ, or equivalent) preferred. Working Conditions: Frequent walking, bending, and lifting in a shop environment. Hands-on work using tools and assembly equipment. Exposure to typical fabrication conditions (noise, dust, fluctuating temperatures). Occasional travel and field assignments requiring PPE. Key Responsibilities: Review engineering drawings and design plans for accuracy and standard compliance. Develop and maintain inspection and quality control procedures across manufacturing operations. Conduct inspections and audits at all production stages to identify and correct variances. Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality concerns. Evaluate supplier materials and performance as part of the audit process. Document quality metrics, reports, and corrective actions. Create and update ISO-aligned SOPs for assembly and manufacturing activities.
