Quality Assurance Supervisor

The Quality Assurance Supervisor will provide leadership in quality and technical matters to the plant team to comply with Corporate Quality Policy.

Responsibilities include hiring and supervising quality staff, conducting departmental and job-specific training, performing laboratory analyses and investigations, notifying key stakeholders of identified issues, providing technical support for resolution of quality problems, maintaining files of test results, updating product specifications, ensuring finished products and raw materials are tested per specification, developing and adhering to Quality SOPs, supporting the plant Food Safety & Quality System, preparing test schedules and procedures, ordering laboratory supplies, participating in quality complaint investigations, performing and / or participating in internal and third-party audits, supporting facility during inspections, and providing technical assistance to quality assurance and operations.

Essential skills include strong knowledge in quality assurance and food science, supervisory skills, a bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a similar science / engineering field, 1-2 years of quality experience, and experience with laboratory, quality, and / or food safety systems. Additional skills include knowledge of relevant GFSI standards and understanding of Food Safety regulations, FSMA, HACCP, and industry trends.

This is a permanent position based out of Union City, CA, with a pay range of $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 / yr. Benefits packet available upon request. This is a fully onsite position with an application deadline of Dec 18, 2025.
