As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide hands-on therapy services. You will assist residents in achieving functional goals through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and restorative care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
Active, unrestricted New York State Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license
BLS certification required
Experience in sub-acute rehab or long-term care preferred (new graduates welcome)
Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
Assist in implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility activities
Monitor residents’ responses to therapy and report progress to the Physical Therapist
Educate residents on exercises and mobility techniques as directed
Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
Ensure therapy sessions comply with clinical and regulatory standards
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident outcomes

$75,000 per year (based on experience)
$70,000 per year (new graduates welcome)
$2,000 Sign-On Bonus
