Frederick Living, part of Garden Spot Communities, is located in Zieglerville, PA (Montgomery County). We are a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) offering a full spectrum of care from retirement living, personal care, licensed healthcare, rehabilitation services, respite to memory care services.

Status : Full Time Day

Salary Range : Starting at $28 per hour

    • As a Activities Manager, supporting our mission will include the following responsibilities :

  • Provide oversight for Resident Living (RL), Personal Care (PC) and Skilled Care (LTC) life enrichment programming.
  • Supervise Personal Care (PC) and Skilled Care (LTC) life enrichment team members.
  • Oversee hiring of life enrichment team members.
  • Manage and approve payroll for life enrichment team members.
  • Provide leadership and oversight on person-directed care initiatives community-wide.
  • Provide guidance & direction to Resident Living committees and clubs as needed.
  • Create flyers and advertise for Life Enrichment programming events.
  • Book performers and speakers for community-wide programming and provide oversight and coordination of programming.
  • Oversee and be responsible for the Life Enrichment Department.
  • Coordinate Life Enrichment calendars for all areas of Frederick Living.
  • Provide hands-on support for Life Enrichment programming in all levels of living as needed.

    • What do I need for this role with Frederick Living ?

  • An understanding of and willingness to live out our mission and values, providing compassionate person-centered care to all residents
  • Four-year degree required.
  • At least 5 years' experience working with older adults in the Life Enrichment field;
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • NCCAP Director Certified preferred.
