Toyota Financial Services is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)Software Engineer. The primary responsibility of this role is to focus on observability where you willdevelopandoperatenextgenerationobservability platforms.

Reporting to the National Manager SRE the person in this role will support ensuring that internally critical and externally visible systems have reliability and uptimeappropriate tousers needs along with a fast rate of improvement while keeping an ever-watchful eye on capacity and performance.

Whatyoullbe doing

• Developing API-driven micro-services that combine into large and complex platforms

• Planning and executing highly parallel distributed object storage transformations and migrations

• Maintainingautomated test suites using CI/CD tools

• Participating in collaborative projects with small software engineering teams

• Develop automation processes and tools designed to make our services simpler and more robust

What you bring

• 1-2 years experiencein developing in Python Java Go or Ruby and experience working in collaborative coding environments

• 1-2 years experiencein operatinglarge-scaleenvironments with Linux/Unix development or systems administration

• Experiencewith Kubernetes/Docker and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible

• Hands-on operational experience in a high-volume or critical production service environment - distributed systems capacity planning and continuous deployment.

• KnowledgeofAWS services like S3 Firehouse ECS EKS EC2 IAM Policies Lamda etc.

• Knowledge of Observability platforms like Dynatrace Datadog Prometheus Grafana etc.
