Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

• Provide critical care nursing to patients with complex and life-threatening conditions
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and advanced cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications, treatments, and ventilator care as prescribed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and escalate concerns appropriately
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery processes

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

• Active North Carolina or Compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and other relevant critical care certifications
• Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in an ICU setting
