As part of our Advanced Gas Operations (AGO) division, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring public safety and helping our communities. If you're a problem solver who takes pride in your work and enjoys a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team!

Your Responsibilities as a Locator :

  • Utilize advanced locating equipment to accurately find gas lines, marking them clearly to prevent utility damage.
  • Build your expertise in underground utility infrastructure.
  • Adhere to all safety and damage prevention guidelines at the company, client, state, and federal levels.
  • Occasionally locate other types of utilities as necessary based on assigned projects.

This role requires full-time availability during the day, with the possibility of working after holidays and on weekends as needed to meet our 48-hour turnaround schedule. Flexibility for overtime and on-call shifts is essential.

    • What We Need from You (Our Requirements) :

  • Willingness to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions; previous outdoor experience is a plus.
  • Availability to work overtime, weekends, and on-call as necessary.
  • Ability to travel locally during work hours; occasional overnight travel may be expected.
  • Must pass a drug screening due to the safety-sensitive nature of this position.
  • A valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items (up to 75 lbs.) on varied terrain.
  • Able to distinguish colors for utility marking.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to read and understand locate tickets, maps, and perform basic math for distance calculations.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues, clients, and contractors; customer service experience is advantageous.
