Structural Field Engineer
As a Structural Field Engineer, you will play a significant part in the success of planning, organizing and implementing project engineering & project controls tasks. Excellent communication, attention to detail and an ability to work well in a team environment are considered critical to this position. We are looking for individuals with motivation and eagerness to expand their skillset in infrastructure construction.
Kiewit's Southern California District is one of Kiewit's leading infrastructure districts specializing in heavy civil projects that include earth moving, water / wastewater, transportation, roadways, and power projects. Most of our work is concentrated in the Southern California region, with some work in Hawaii.
Kiewit's Southern California District is based out of the Santa Fe Springs, CA office and supports projects throughout the Southern California region, building out project / construction schedules for all types of infrastructure work across the region. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field of engineering or equivalent experience and education
At least 2 years of experience in the construction field
Must have working knowledge and be able to direct the operations of at least these management systems : scheduling - CPM, unit man-hour performance, material control, estimating and subcontracts.
Experience with leadership and management of people, communication (verbal and written), planning and organization.

Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.

Base Compensation : $90,000 - $110,000 (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and / or location)
