Job Title : Senior Java Developer (8+ years)

Location : Houston, TX

Experience Required : 8+ Years

Employment Type : Full-time

We are hiring a Senior Java Developer with 8+ years of experience to build and maintain scalable Java microservices in a fast-paced environment. You will work independently on complex features, collaborate with teams and business stakeholders, and ensure reliable, high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop Spring Boot microservices using JDK 11 / 17 , JAX-RS (Apache CXF) , and Jackson JSON / XML for robust APIs.
Implement data layers with Spring Data DynamoDB and optimize for performance.
Build event-driven systems using Kafka, EMS, MQ, or Solace .
Write tests using JUnit and Mockito , applying Java / J2EE practices like annotations, reflection, Lombok, and Spring MVC.
Deploy via Docker on AWS EKS Kubernetes with AWS ALB , using Harness / TeamCity for CI / CD.
Monitor with Datadog and Elasticsearch ; handle bug fixing , log analysis, and root-cause resolution.
Participate in daily scrum calls , refine requirements, track progress, and deliver on time while preventing issues.
Use GitHub for version control (check-in / out, PRs) and IntelliJ / Eclipse for development.

Required Skills :

Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot microservices , Apache CXF , Jackson , JUnit / Mockito , AWS DynamoDB , Docker / Kubernetes (EKS) , Datadog / Elasticsearch , and CI / CD (Harness / TeamCity) .

Proven debugging and proactive issue prevention skills.

Nice-to-Have

AWS Certification or DevOps experience.
