- Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering an outstanding Patient Experience by executing key steps, including :
- Warmly greeting patients
- Clearly explaining the process
- Guiding frame and lens selection
- Helping solve visual challenges
- Processing payments accurately
- Dispensing eyewear with care
- Assist patients in finding frames and lenses that meet their vision needs, lifestyle, and budget; offer recommendations and solutions for complex challenges.
- Proactively identify potential issues, understand their underlying causes, and develop effective long-term solutions.
- Provide patient care with patience and courtesy, ensuring all inquiries are addressed and resolved.
- Ensure all finished eyewear meets optical standards and satisfies customer requests.
- Take personal responsibility for your results and contribute positively to the practice's goals.
- Act as a role model in your development and support other team members with your technical knowledge.
- Accurately operate the Point of Sale system, inputting customer and prescription details with attention to detail, while following security procedures for transactions.
- Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Participation in a recognized Optician Apprenticeship Program in a licensed state
- Outstanding customer service skills, including effective communication and teamwork
- Understanding of current optical theories and products
- Strong basic math abilities
- Knowledge of fashion trends in eyewear
- Sales acumen and service skills
- Familiarity with Point of Sale systems, computers, and calculators
- Adaptability to new technology and a willingness to embrace change
