Job Description

Sign On Bonus: $5,000

Complimentary Care for One Child/Increased Pay Rates

Shift: Full-Time Days/910am - 540pm

Supervises, interacts with, and ensures the safety of children at all times.

Develops and implements age-appropriate curriculum and monthly goals to meet children's developmental needs.

Communicates effectively with parents, greeting them and discussing their child's day.

Maintains sanitary conditions in the room and adheres to infection prevention policies.

Provides responsive care by adapting daily routines to the needs of individual children and the group.

Works positively and collaboratively with staff to enhance the experience of children and families.

Meets in-service and continuing education requirements as per department policy.

Evaluates and improves the physical environment in the classroom to meet children's changing needs.

Demonstrates the ability to accept and adjust to change. Is attentive and sensitive to the needs of team members, children, families, and the center.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Teachers must have a clear understanding of the curriculum standards for the age of the children in their classes.

Lesson planning.

Knowledge of computer skills.

Classroom management skills.

Communicates and problem-solves efficiently.
