Position : Part-time 20 hours / week

Shift : 9 : 00 A.M. - 5 : 30 P.M. with on call responsibilities

What You Will Do

As a Hospice Nurse, you will be responsible for completing hospice and palliative care visits in the home setting (which includes the community or agency setting) as assigned. These visits may include admission, routine, recertification, discharge and / or death visits. Follows the established plan of care to provide care, treatments, and education. Demonstrates knowledge and support of the philosophy, purpose, and goals of hospice care as well as those of McGregor and its policies.

Required Qualifications

• Graduated of a state approved school of nursing.
• One year of nursing experience.
• Current active nursing license.
• Certification (CHPN) preferred.
• Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support).
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must have effective and efficient time management skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups of people.
