ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
Our agency has been proudly serving the community since October 2017. We currently have four full-time team members and are excited to welcome a fifth. We believe in creating a positive and balanced workplace where people feel supported and appreciated.

We offer two office outings each year (summer and holiday), 8 paid holidays, and 15 days of PTO/sick time with some rollover options. Team members also benefit from a Pre-Tax Health Expense Reimbursement program and a Simple IRA with employer match after two years. Plus, we keep the office stocked with snacks and drinks tailored to everyones preferences. Im a graduate of the University of Iowa and have been with State Farm for over 11 years. As a longtime Chicago resident and proud dad of two boys, I love being part of this community. We partner with local organizations like Waters Elementary, the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce, and the North River Commission to give back and stay connected.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Adam Garcia - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
