divh2Logistics Account Manager - Inland Transportation Services/h2pInland Transportation Services seeks a strategic, high level communicator as an Account Manager to join our logistics team. We operate in a challenging, high energy industry that can be extremely rewarding. This position is expected to build and sustain strong, long term relationships with external businesses regarding our logistics services. While the expectations of this job are to grow the new customer base, a successful candidate would need to demonstrate the ability to bring in a current transportation book of business. This role is primarily Monday through Friday and based in the office, but will vary due to the clients needs. Compensation is base salary plus commission./ppstrongResponsibilities include:/strong/pulliWorks with team to ensure each customers needs are being met./liliWorks with team to get rates for larger RFQs/RFPs./liliIdentify and capitalize on new business opportunities within current clients./liliUnderstand clients requirements to ensure a comprehensive solution is delivered./liliPrepare and deliver customer presentations./liliResponsible for achieving and surpassing sales targets./liliAnalyze market trends./liliTrack all territory-based activities and submit reports electronically./liliWork with team to establish both virtual and tangible marketing campaign (Print, social Media, Web based)./li/ulpstrongQualifications:/strong/pulliBachelors degree preferred, but not required./liliEnergetic, hardworking, accountable and pro-active./liliOrganized, detail-oriented. Excellent follow-up skills are essential./liliProven experience in freight logistics, with a desire to grow professionally./liliAbility to understand competitors strategies, transportation services and pricing patterns./liliIdeal candidate will have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role./liliArticulate and persuasive oral and written communication skills./liliSuperior professional presence and business acumen./liliCompetitive spirit with strong desire to succeed./liliImpeccable integrity and ethical standards./liliMicrosoft Office Literate (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)./liliProven track record in transportation/logistics (3PL preferred)./liliPositive Attitude to ensure constructive demeanor throughout office./liliAbility to work under tight deadlines./liliHighly motivated self-starter./li/ulpThe Logistics Account ManagerInland Transportation Services role is a salaried position located on-site. The pay range is $50,000 to $115,000, which is base pay plus commission.
