Project Coordinator
The Project Planner is responsible for coordinating and supporting projects for AmeriFill's diverse portfolio, including pet beds, decorative pillows, and other soft goods. This role ensures projects move seamlessly from initial specifications through production and shipment, meeting timelines, cost targets, and quality standards. The Project Planner facilitates communication, organizes resources, and works cross-functionally to enable successful execution of customer-driven projects.
Partners with customers and internal teams to define specifications and timelines for AmeriFill projects.
Prepares and reviews scopes of work for each project.
Facilitates new product sampling and communicates updates to internal teams and customers.
Documents all client interactions and opportunities and completes/submits all requests with cross-functional teams.
Follows up with internal teams and vendors to track project progress and resolve minor issues.
Maintains accurate project records, logs customer interactions and opportunity updates, and tracks project milestones and timelines within Salesforce CRM.
Assists in generating project reports and dashboards in Salesforce or ERP systems to support management visibility.
Collaborates with external customers, internal supply chain, and operational stakeholders, including procurement, product planning, quality assurance, and industrial engineering, to ensure complete and on-time execution for AmeriFill's product lines.
Supports quality assurance by reviewing project specifications and reporting discrepancies to the team.
Provides regular project updates to management and cross-functional teams to maintain focus on priorities.
Assists in monitoring production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of projects.
Ensures projects and initiatives are prioritized and executed appropriately to meet organizational goals.
Supports resolution of customer requests and complaints to optimize customer satisfaction and prevent recurring issues through process improvement.
Identifies risks and opportunities and recommends solutions to optimize project outcomes.
Implements planning controls, governance, and reporting to ensure smooth execution and delivery.
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
02 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing or consumer goods; textiles or soft goods experience is a plus
Exposure to project management principles, timelines, and milestone tracking
Experience with ERP or MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for production and inventory management is preferred
Exposure to process improvement initiatives
Proficient in Salesforce CRM software
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Effective multitasking and organizational skills with attention to detail
Critical thinker with sound judgment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments
Familiarity with supply chain processes and production planning
Ability to withstand prolonged periods sitting at a desk
Frequent use of upper extremities to perform keyboard functions and work on a computer
Ability to occasionally stand/walk
