Ordering and restocking new inventory from suppliers and vendors, according to demand
Packing and shipping orders for customers and clients, checking for damage, defective parts, and missing items
Implementing loss prevention programs and procedures
Shipping Clerk:
Operating machines to measure and cut wire to customer specifications
Using a computer to access and print packing lists and using online shipping programs
Packing and shipping completed orders
Assisting warehouse clerks with pulling and staging pending work orders
Managing inventory, processing customer orders, and preparing items for shipment
Performing data entry, operating industrial trucks, and creating bill of ladings
Maintaining accurate inventory records and coordinating with carriers for pickups and deliveries
Packaging items securely and ensuring accurate and complete shipping documentation
Scanning Clerk:
Using scanning equipment to transform paper documents into digital copies
Managing and storing files on a computer
Raising concerns about the scanning equipment
Inspecting the quality of the output
Preparing documents for scanning
Checking the quality of the scanned documents
