Job description

Job Title

Job Overview: Pay Range: $45hr - $50hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Life Sciences, Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field required.
  • Strong experience in clinical data management required.
  • Knowledge of CDISC standards and SDTM implementation required.
  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP and experience working in regulated environments required.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills required.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and timelines required.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills required.
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools required.
  • Leadership, mentoring, and decision-making capabilities required.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute fit-for-purpose data management solutions aligned with FAIR principles.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for clinical data collection and acquisition strategies.
  • Advise stakeholders on best practices for emerging data types, technologies, and data sources.
  • Provide oversight and quality assurance for Functional Service Providers (FSPs), CROs, and vendors.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and study-related activities to ensure successful execution.
  • Oversee sample management and eManifest processes and ensure timely resolution of queries.
  • Perform aggregate-level data reviews using visualization tools, statistical monitoring, and standard metrics to identify anomalies or trends.
  • Participate in study management team meetings and data quality review meetings.
  • Partner with stakeholders across biometrics and business functions to support data-driven decisions.
  • Support vendor selection, data transfer agreements, and external data management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and patient privacy requirements.
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives and improvements related to data management technologies and processes.
  • Mentor junior data managers and provide technical guidance as needed.

Should Have:

  • Experience leading data management study teams preferred.
  • Experience managing clinical trial and Real-World Data collection preferred.
  • Knowledge of disease area strategies and healthcare environments preferred.
  • Experience with SAS, R, Python, SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau, or Shiny preferred.
  • Experience with advanced analytics, machine learning, or AI preferred.
  • Experience with MedDRA and WHODrug preferred.
  • Familiarity with enterprise operating systems and databases preferred.
  • Experience implementing reproducible research practices and version control preferred.
  • Clinical qualifications such as BSN, RN, RPh, PharmD, or PA preferred.

Skills:

  • Clinical data management expertise required.
  • CDISC/CDASH and SDTM knowledge required.
  • Data quality review and surveillance skills required.
  • Vendor and project management skills required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
  • Data visualization and reporting skills required.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills required.
  • Leadership, mentoring, and influencing skills required.
  • Ability to work independently in complex and evolving environments is required.

Qualification and Education:

  • Equivalent industry experience may be considered.
  • Relevant certifications or healthcare qualifications preferred.
