We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Carlsbad, California. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting accounting and treasury functions, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency. This role requires a strong foundation in accounting practices and the ability to manage financial operations across global bank accounts.

Responsibilities :

• Perform month-end close procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Manage cash forecasting processes for global bank accounts, providing timely and accurate projections.
• Oversee bank vendor relationships and maintain effective communication to address operational needs.
• Handle payroll-related financial tasks, ensuring compliance and accuracy in processing.
• Conduct detailed bank reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Utilize Excel macros and automation tools to streamline financial workflows.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize accounting and treasury operations.
• Investigate and address variances in financial data, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Participate in ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic initiatives.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in financial analysis or related roles.
• Proficiency in month-end close procedures and journal entry preparation.
• Strong skills in cash reconciliations and bank account management.
• Knowledge of cash forecasting techniques and tools.
• Experience with financial modeling and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills, including macros and automation capabilities.
• Familiarity with data mining techniques for financial insights.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
