Global Service Resources is looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to work in Sacramento, CA!

Job title: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Sacramento, CA 95828
Schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
Payrate: $21-$23/hour
Responsibilities:

• Receive and process prescriptions/medical orders
• Collect patient information and update profiles
• Verify prescription completeness and legality
• Enter data into patient records
• Calibrate equipment, compound, measure, and package medications
• Label, record, and prepare controlled substances
• Maintain and review inventory, check for expired drugs
• Deliver and organize medications for clinics/nursing staff
• Assist pharmacists with patient therapy issues
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 12 months of recent experience (within last 3 years) in a public/private institution
• Valid California Board of Pharmacy license (must be maintained)
• Proficient in English (oral, written, and comprehension)
