About the Client
Our client is a fast-scaling, experience-driven consumer brand with a powerful presence in both physical retail and online commerce. Known for setting a new standard in their space, they’ve built a destination that merges community, culture, and commerce—now they’re ready to bring that energy to their digital front door.
To support this next phase of growth, they’re seeking a Commerce Lead to take ownership of their ecommerce platform and elevate every touchpoint of the customer journey. THIS IS ONSITE ROLE.
This is a high-visibility, in-office role based in the Atlanta (Truist Park) area, with in-office presence required five days per week .
The Role
This is not a maintenance role—it’s a mission-critical hire . You’ll be entrusted with full ownership of the ecommerce experience, driving both strategic vision and hands-on execution. You’ll act as the connective tissue between retail energy and digital engagement, ensuring the platform is high-performing, on-brand, and ready to scale.
As the first dedicated digital commerce leader within the organization, you'll have direct access to decision-makers and the opportunity to shape KPIs, implement modern systems, and lead the evolution of a category-defining online presence.
Key Responsibilities Ecommerce Strategy & Performance
Define success metrics and track performance across traffic, conversions, engagement, and SEO
Lead content strategy and optimize site architecture based on customer behavior and insights
Implement SEO best practices, lead gen funnels, and conversion optimization tactics
Collaborate with marketing to align seasonal and product-driven campaigns with digital execution
Stay ahead of ecommerce trends and collector behaviors to inform site innovations
Site Management & Merchandising
Own the digital product lifecycle : launches, metadata, categorization, and discoverability
Manage day-to-day content updates across homepage, product pages, and event listings
Coordinate closely with inventory systems (Thrive) to ensure real-time product accuracy
Optimize filtering, search, and UX for a seamless customer experience
Support integrations for loyalty programs, sweepstakes, or live sales activations
Cross-Functional Leadership
Interface with creative, marketing, and retail teams to ensure full-channel alignment
Lead developer and platform coordination for integrations, site health, and performance
Manage timelines for digital campaigns, content assets, and merchandising pushes
Report directly into ownership, with access to executive-level decision-making
What You Bring
3+ years of ecommerce ownership experience in a consumer-facing, growth-focused environment
Proficiency in Shopify , headless CMS frameworks , and inventory tools such as Thrive
Strong fluency in Google Analytics , SEO tools, and UX best practices
Proven success improving site traffic, conversion, and digital merchandising outcomes
Professional polish with the ability to collaborate and communicate across senior stakeholders
Bonus : Domain familiarity in collectibles, trading cards, or community retail environments
Compensation & Perks
Base Salary : $80,000–$90,000 based on experience
