Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Havelock, NC team!

As our Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work with our inspectors to ensure quality product leaves the facility.

This is a great opportunity to work in a small job shop facility, great environment, where you will get the chance to work on thermal spray metal coatings technologies.

Location:Cherrypoint (MCAS) / Havelock, NC

Salary:$68,000-$73,000

Your Challenge

• Designs, implements and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
  \n

• Designs methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products.
  \n
\n
• Reviews and evaluates in-process rejections, obtains disposition and implements corrective action as needed.
  \n
\n
• May interface with customers, vendors and various company departments to resolve quality problems and provide information.
  \n
\n
• Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary.
  \n
\n
• Participates in audits.
  \n
\n
• Working hands on with production and operations.
  \n
\n

What You Bring

• 1-2 years of manufacturing or aerospace experience

• AS9100
  \n
\n
• Assisted in audits
  \n
\n
• Understanding QMS program
  \n
\n
• Self-motivated/self-starter
  \n
\n
• Ability to wear multiple hats to help each other out
  \n
\n
• Education - associates or bachelors
  \n
\n
• U.S. Citizenship required
  \n
\n

• DCMA-8210 knowledge

• Mechanical or aerospace engineering discipline (bachelors)

• Experience working on aircraft parts and maintenance
