CMCA Qualifications for the Teacher Aide Registered Apprentice Program:

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Physically capable of performing the essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation, and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of the individual or others.

Requirements to Complete an Apprenticeship:

• Complete on-the-job training - 3,000 hours
• Complete related instructions courses, training, etc - 288 hours
• Obtain a Child Development Associate credential (CDA) or Certificate in Early Childhood Development
