Job Duties
As our Field Competence Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development of technical and safety competencies for our frontline employees across North America. In this role, you will take a data-driven approach to planning, implementing, and overseeing training initiatives. Lastly, you will collaborate with Learning & Development colleagues, technical trainers, and key business stakeholders to ensure effective and relevant learning experiences that align with operational needs.
You will bring 5+ years of progressive and successful experience in a Supervisor Installation Manager (IM), Project Manager (PM) role to KONE. Preferably, having been involved in new equipment installation and modernization of elevators and escalators, or related industry experience. You will use the knowledge gained through your bachelor’s degree (preferred in a technical field) in addition to your experience.
Hiring requirements
Experience in technical training and apprenticeship program development is considered an asset.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in data management and analytical skills to support decision-making.
Ability to align learning strategies with key performance indicators (KPIs).
Knowledge of learning technologies and platforms.
Ability to manage multiple learning initiatives with competing priorities.

Annual Base Pay Range:
Variable Compensation
KONE Annual Bonus plan at 15% Target Incentive (60/40) based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.
