SUMMARY / SCOPE : We are looking for a part-time, adjunct faculty to teach Computer Science courses. The Computer Science department is in the Holland School of Sciences and Mathematics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES :

Adjunct instructor for computer science courses that include topics suchas Java programming, data structures, assembly language, web programming (frontand back end), networking, and cybersecurity.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

At least a Masters degree with 18 graduate hours in Computer Science,Cybersecurity, or similar discipline.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Thejob is sedentary in nature. Must be able to sit or stand for long periods oftime while performing office and computer operations.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :

Thisposition is a part-time / temp adjunct position (no more than 29 hours per week)with teaching load at the Hardin-Simmons University campus.

Mustbe a resident of the state of Texas.
