Unmanned Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

Peraton Labs is seeking an Unmanned Systems Engineer to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground Maryland. Youll l ead and contribute to teams that tackle complex multi-disciplinary problems spanning cybersecurity electrical engineering mechanical engineering and computer science. Youll have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers lead projects and explore new topics while leveraging your existing skills.

Responsibilities :

You will have the opportunity to innovate systems related to UAS and to use that knowledge by working with other teams and groups to enhance their electronic exploitation ability. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys building and integrating new technologies and does not mind tackling unique challenges. Youll have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers lead projects and explore new topics while leveraging your existing skills and developing new ones.

Qualifications

Required :

• Active Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Robotics Engineering Computer Science or a related discipline
• 5 years of directly related experience with a BS 3 years with a MS
• Experience with a coding / programming languages such as Python Java or C
• Experience performing a variety of tasks using command line interfaces such as the Linux terminal
• Applicant must be keen to learn new skills and tackle new challenges with out of the box thinking

Target Salary Range

$86000 - $138000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
