Job Title : Pile Driver Job Description

As a Pile Driver, you will be responsible for picking up and placing templates for pile locations, supporting crane activities and pile deliveries, and ensuring daily inspections of tools and safety premises. You will also attend tool box talks, maintain a safe atmosphere, and keep the site clean and organized. Additionally, you will operate hydraulically and diesel-driven pile hammers with fixed or swinging leads to drive various types of piles, including concrete, sheet, H-pile, and pipe piles, as well as utilize vibratory hammers to drive sheet piling.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and place templates for pile locations.
• Support crane activities and pile deliveries.
• Inspect tools and safety premises daily.
• Attend tool box talks and maintain a safe atmosphere.
• Keep site clean and organized.
• Operate hydraulically and diesel-driven pile hammers to drive various types of piles.
• Utilize vibratory hammers to drive sheet piling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

Work schedule is Monday to Saturday, 6am to 6pm, with availability for some day and night shifts on the weekends. This role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00 / hr.
