We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Locum Physician specializing in General Medicine to provide essential assessments for veterans across Missouri. This role offers a flexible schedule, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to serve our nation's heroes while advancing your professional experience.

Required Skills:

• Valid medical license in Missouri
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related field
• Experience with compensation and pension examinations preferred
• Strong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and adhere to protocols

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience with VA or military-related assessments
• Familiarity with medical reporting and documentation standards
• Training in or knowledge of VA-specific procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO)
• Minimum of 2 years of outpatient clinical experience
• Prior involvement in disability or compensation exams is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Own office location within a 50-mile radius of designated areas
• Willingness to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments
• Availability for PRN, ongoing work, with flexible half-day or full-day shifts
• Possession of current certifications, licensure, and credentials necessary for clinical assessments
• Willingness to complete required training and perform initial exams for bonus eligibility
• Travel reimbursement included when applicable; no additional costs for certification or portal training

Hourly Pay Rate:

• Half-Day (4 hours or less): $800 flat rate
• Full-Day (5 hours or more): $1,600 flat rate
• One-time bonus of $650 upon completing training and first exams
• Local candidates only; travel costs included in rates
• No overtime or holiday pay applicable
