Job Description

The System Offices is one of several system members within the Texas A&M University System representing one of the largest systems of higher education in the nation, with a network of 12 universities, a comprehensive health science center, nine state agencies, and the RELLIS Campus. Salary :

$7,000.00 - $7,500.00 per month commensurate with experience.

Job Description Summary :

The Senior IT Professional II, as a member of the IT Operations & Support department, under general direction, provides technical leadership for administering multiple complex SaaS applications and other services and ensuring compliance with the unit's technical standards on behalf of the Texas A&M University System.

Responsibilities : - Configure and maintain the LERMS and other SaaS applications (e.g., document management, workflow automation, collaboration tools).

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors for resolution.

Manage user access, roles, and permissions in accordance with security policies.

Support the implementation of SaaS applications and upgrades to existing systems.

Collaborate with IT and business units to interface SaaS applications with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, Identity management, CRM).

Ensure data accuracy, retention, and compliance with records management policies and regulatory requirements for LERMS and other applications.

Assist in audits and reporting related to data access, retention, and system usage.

Maintain system documentation, including configuration guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and change logs.

Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users.

Evaluate system usage and user feedback to recommend enhancements. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in SaaS administration and records management.

Coordinate and collaborate across workstreams, departments and with external vendors as needed. Resolve and / or escalate issues in a timely manner.

Manage data exports, imports, and transformations to support business processes and integrations for LERMS and other applications.

Participate in training and professional development sessions.

Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience : - Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Eight years of related technology experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : - Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Knowledge of Information Technology Service Management and Infrastructure Library (ITSM / ITIL) concepts and practices.

Knowledge and experience with IT architecture, project management, change management, and quality assurance methodologies.

Knowledge and experience in managing enterprise SaaS solutions and enterprise-level operations.

Occasional travel and work outside scheduled hours.

Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Registration, Certifications, and Licenses :

• Ability to pass the state and national fingerprint-based background check to obtain the Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) Certification.
