As a Lead Architect, you will serve as the technical domain expert for solution architectures across Capital Group’s corporate capabilities—including Finance, HR, Legal & Compliance, Global Risk Management, Workplace Experience, Global Communications, and IT.You’llpartner with business and IT leaders to define the target state architecture and technology strategy, drive innovation and transformation, and enable solutions aligned with Capital Group’s long-term strategic vision.
Key ResponsibilitiesInclude :
Strategic Architecture Leadership
You willshapetarget state architecture and technology strategy for Capital Group Corporate Technology portfolio
You willmaintaina deep understanding of the application portfolios, including their technical and functional health, and ensure alignment with business strategies and priorities.
You will define current ("as-is") state and future ("to-be") state architectures.
Youwilldeveloproadmaps to target states, including necessary interim state architectures to support the transition.
You will stay current with technology and industry trends, incorporating relevant innovations into strategic planning.
You will build andmaintainstrong relationships with business and IT partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment on strategic technology direction and architectural vision.
Solution Delivery
You will be the solution architect for high-impact programs and projects within the portfolios.
You will develop solution architecture blueprints, POVs, and guide architectural decisions.
You will conduct architecture reviews and provide hands-on guidance and support to development teams.
You will ensure solution design and implementation conform to enterprise standards and strategicobjectives.
Standards and Architecture Governance
You will contribute and leverage enterprise technology standards, promote and follow the architecture governance processes.

You have abachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, ora relatedtechnical field.
Youhave10+ years of experience managing technology portfolios supporting corporate functions such as Finance, HR, Legal & Compliance, and IT operations.
You have10+ years of enterprise architecture experience, with a proventrack recordof defining target state architectures and roadmaps for large, complex portfolios.
You havedemonstratedsuccess inleading digital transformation initiatives, including legacy modernization and large-scale vendor solution implementations.
You have strong architecture andhands-onexperience with enterprise platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, and SAP.
You have experience with cloud and data platforms including AWS, Azure, and Databricks.
You have deepexpertisein modern application, data, and integration architectures.
You haveproventhe abilityto evaluate emerging technologies and recommendimplementationpatterns and standards.
You have hands-on experience with AI implementation, including Microsoft Copilot Studio, AI Gateway, and GenAI integrations with platforms like SAP, Workday, and ServiceNow.
You have strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
You have excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and inspire architects and engineers
A backgroundin financial services or asset management is a plus.
