Production Line Forklift & ERP Inventory Specialist

Join a high-volume ready-to-drink beverage co-packer that fills aluminum cans—juices, energy drinks, teas, and sodas—in a range of sizes. Your work keeps production moving and inventory precise.

A day in this role

Start with a safety check of your truck, then review work orders and location moves in the ERP. You will load and unload trailers, stage materials for production and other teams, and document every move to maintain ironclad location accuracy. On the floor, you’ll verify materials meet specifications as they reach production, arrange in-plant transfers to match the build schedule, and request materials while sequencing delivery dates by job priority and availability. You’ll compute quantities required to finish orders, keep clean paper / digital logs, and monitor material flow across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and operate forklifts safely; control lift / tilt to handle pallets and materials.
• Load / unload trucks and move inventory between departments and staging areas.
• Enter accurate transactions in the ERP to reflect all physical movements.
• Verify conformance of materials delivered to production against specifications.
• Plan and coordinate in-plant transfers to meet production schedules.
• Request materials and set sequential delivery dates based on priorities and availability.
• Calculate material needs for work orders; maintain organized records.
• Track and regulate the movement of materials to prevent bottlenecks.
