Finance Officer

We’re seeking a motivated Finance Officer (Revenue Services) who plays a vital role in supporting revenue debt collection optimisation across the group, supporting the overall finance process as well as working closely with other departments within the organisation.

THE ROLE

This role is well suited to a self-motivated finance professional looking to take the next step in their career and further develop their technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. A strong focus of the role is debt collection, requiring a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while meeting key deadlines.

THE ESSENTIAL

• Relevant experience in Revenue Service
• Experience working in a collections environment (aged care experience preferred
• Sound knowledge of Aged Care billing and legislation, and how it interacts with Services Australia funding
• Strong understanding of Aged Care government revenue streams, including subsidies and supplements
• Well-developed interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise professionally across multiple stakeholder groups (including effective conflict management)
• Proven ability to investigate, reconcile, and resolve billing and debtor account issues
