As an Allied Universal Security Officer specializing in access control at a leading automotive location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and customer service skills will contribute to a secure environment for employees and visitors. Mon 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Thur 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

Fri 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control protocols, at the location.
  • Monitor and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or suspicious activity according to established guidelines.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or contractors while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site-specific policies and Allied Universal protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
