Beaumont - Day Program Caregiver

Texas HCS Inc. is now hiring Day Program Caregiver staff positions in the Beaumont area to provide personal care of individuals with developmental disabilities in an adult day activity setting. The ideal candidate would have Caregiving, Direct Support and/ or Direct Care, C.N.A. or Home Health experience. To support our population of individuals one must be fun, clean, mature, dependable, organized, respectful, and patient in challenging situations.

On-the-job training is provided!

Shift: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:00AM - 4:00PM

Day Program Caregiver Duties include:

• General supervision and monitoring of individuals served.
• Teaching specialized training objectives to acquire independent living skills.
• Assistance with grooming and toileting
• Supervision and assistance during meals
• Supervision during recreational activities
• Facility house cleaning
• Driving company vehicles
• Communication with co-workers and office staff
• Specialized documentation

Qualifications:

• Valid and current Texas Driver's License
• Clear Background Check
• Clear DMV Check
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Proof of Education
• No confirmation of Abuse/Neglect/Exploitation of an elderly or disabled person
• No history of Medicaid fraud.
