Substitute Teacher

Description:

Frassati Catholic Academy is hiring substitute teachers for the 2025-26 school year. Substitute teachers can choose the days they work (based on teacher absences) and can choose which ages of students they are most comfortable working with. Substitute teachers use lesson plans provided by the teacher to guide student learning on days when the teacher is absent. Substitute teachers are also responsible for student safety and any extra duties (lunch duty, recess duty, etc.) that the teacher might have on that day.

Requirements:

We are a Catholic school, so Catholic applicants are preferred, though Christian applicants will be considered. All applicants must have a high school diploma, though college graduates are preferred. Selected candidates must pass a background check and take Safe Environment Training before employment will be offered.
