2026 Software Engineer Intern Overview :

This role will work in a collaborative and Agile environment to design build and enhance applications used by AbbVie employees and our customers.  Solutions range from Customer Portals and Mobile Apps to customization of the platform used by various teams.

The Software Engineer will work collaboratively as part of an Agile team with Business Analysts Scrum Masters Product Managers and various business owners.  The work will be fast paced dynamic and afford many learning opportunities.  Engineers will also have the chance to experiment and learn new skills while working on innovative stretch assignments.  Opportunities exist for Front-End Back-End and Full Stack engineers.  To be successful candidates must be efficient in programming languages like Java JavaScript TypeScript NodeJS and HTML.

Qualifications :

MinimumQualifications :

Currently enrolled in university pursuing a bachelors degree in Engineering (Computer Industrial or related fields or Computer Science or other related field

Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the internship

Expected graduation datebetween December 2026 June 2027

Technology Skills : Programming Language : Python or Java

Preferred Qualifications :

Exposure to database coding infrastructure etc.

Java JavaScript TypeScript NodeJS and HTML.
