About The Position

RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP : Minimum Years of Experience : 2 years of experience Traveler Experience : NOT REQUIRED Locals Accepted / Rate Difference : Yes Skills : CVOR experience; Certs : BLS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP : ACLS, level 1 trauma experience.Preferred that the candidate be proficient in scrubbing Cardiac cases, however, not required. JOB DETAILS : Ratios : 1 : 1 Shift : 10 HR Day 4x10-Hour (06 : 15 - 16 : 45). Call Requirement : 4 10-hour shifts M-F will call on the days scheduled, there could be a week they would work 5 days if the come in on their call weekend. 2 days a week and every third weekend. For an average of 14 call days per 6 week schedule. Float Requirement : to main OR on same campus if no volume in CVOR. Weekend Requirement : Call shift every third weekend

• Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and / or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed. PATIENT DIAGNOSES : CABG, AVR, MVR, TVR, Aortic Dissection, TAVR, Laser lead extractions, Aortic Root, Carotids, Thoracic cases, Pericardial window, ECMO, Impella. UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication) : Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR SCHEDULING TYPE : manager determines UNIT ORIENTATION : 24 hours SCRUBS : provided, blue
