Description :

This is a major healthcare provider in Northern New Mexico.

The facility has a 47-bed acute care capacity with approximately 300 healthcare employees.

The unit consists of 3 beds with a patient ratio of 1 : 1 or 1 : 2.

The facility uses electronic health records (EHR) systems, specifically CQI and Medhost.

Supervision is provided by a designated supervisor.

The primary patient population is adults, with occasional pediatric cases.

Common diagnoses and treatments include appendectomy and gallbladder procedures.

The role includes on-call coverage, requiring a response time of 30 minutes when notified of a case.

There is no expectation to float to any other areas within the facility.

Proper attire includes scrubs, while open-toed shoes and fake fingernails are not permitted.
