Job Title: VP of Finance
Salary: $150K (15% Bonus Potential)
Job Type: Full Time, Hybrid after training period
Overview
The VP works to support the operations team of Senior Helpers with actionable analysis, business decision support, forecasting and budgeting. Additionally, the VP will also be responsible for the roll-out of finance initiatives within the organization and franchisee base. This role partners closely with executive leadership to provide strategic insights, guide decision-making, and ensure alignment between financial performance and business objectives. The VP reports to the Chief Executive Officer of Senior Helpers.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Finance & Business Partnership
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team
- Provide data-driven insights to support strategic initiatives, investments, and resource allocation
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range (3–5 year) financial planning
- Assist SVP of Training with budgeting and tracking of conference expenses
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and assumptions
Performance Management & Reporting
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reviews
- Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting packages
- Analyze variances vs. budget, forecast, and prior periods; identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Revenue & Royalty Analysis
- Oversee forecasting and analysis of royalty revenue, franchise fees, marketing fund contributions, and other system revenue streams
- Monitor same-store sales, unit growth, and other key drivers impacting franchisor revenue
- Manage royalty collection, franchisee minimums, and royalty questions from Franchise Ops and Franchisees
Franchise Economics & System Performance
- Analyze franchisee unit-level economics, including sales trends, margins, and labor
- Manage dashboards and tools, including Qvinci platform, for monitoring franchisee economic performance
Compliance:
- Works closely with the Compliance team of Senior Helpers to help manage franchisee communication and enforcement of system standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant FP&A experience in corporate settings.
- Proven experience partnering with executive leadership in a complex organization
- Deep expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic analysis
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance detail and big-picture thinking
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Advanced proficiency with FP&A tools, ERP systems, and data analytics platforms
- Excellent communication, leadership, and time-management abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the franchise and or home health industry preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analytics tools.
- Background in both corporate FP&A and operational finance
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and influencing across functions
