Software Engineer (Java / C++ / PHP)

JD : This role will require designing and building scalable backend services, authoring and maintaining proper code, documentation and creating and following an effective processes for partner engagement. An ideal candidate will bring to the table a solid set of technical skills and experience in the scalable backend services space. Minimum qualifications- Software engineer with 7-13 years of backend development experience around building, maintaining and scaling backend infra and working on large scale systems that serve large number of users Software development experience in languages and environments such as Java, Native Development Kit (C++) and / or PHP- Experience with distributed systems- Experience with designing, building and maintaining scalable backend services and API endpoints- Experience with SQL and no-SQL databases, GraphQL and REST APIs- Proven experience, communication, analytical, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to design and build scalable backend services and APIs- Help partners integrate their apps / services on Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality devices including but not limited to Quest headsets and RayBan Glasses- Work closely with partner technical teams to integrate with Partner APIs and services- Develop a robust understanding of the various Reality Labs platforms / APIs and underlying implementations- Ensure great documentation and best practices are created to collaborate with partners Preferred qualifications- Knowledge of scalable data pipelines and experience with ETL pipelines- Proven expertise in debugging and maintaining scalable services and APIs We are an equal opportunity employer.
