Goodwill Southern California is seeking a

Shift Lead – Fleet

to support daily transportation operations and provide functional leadership to Class A and bobtail drivers. This working lead helps ensure routes are completed safely, on time, and in alignment with service standards.

What You’ll Do

Provide daily direction to Class A and bobtail drivers to ensure route completion and safety compliance.

Lead shift start-up meetings, communicate goals, and support route coordination.

Assist with loading / unloading trailers and securing freight.

Monitor workplace organization, cleanliness, and safety practices.

Train drivers on safety, customer service, and operational standards.

Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment; conduct safety inspections.

Drive a bobtail truck when coverage is needed.

Maintain accurate records and support documentation for deliveries and inspections.

What You Bring

2+ years of transportation or warehouse experience; lead experience preferred.

Forklift certification required.

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience operating bobtail trucks; knowledge of Class A operations helpful.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work varied shifts.

Valid CA driver’s license and required insurance.

Bilingual (Spanish / English) preferred.
