Please join our dedicated team and be part of an amazing and hardworking group of volunteers. This volunteer role is essential to the success of our tax services to strengthen our San Francisco Bay Area community.

Responsibilities & Tasks

Meet with clients at our community based tax sites throughout the San Francisco Bay Area to verify their identity and help them to complete our tax questionnaire
Help collect the necessary information for completing a tax return
Maintain confidentiality of client information
Treat clients with dignity and respect

Requirements

Strong client relations and communication skills (both verbal and written)

Highly organized, detail oriented

Experience using google docs

Some prior tax or financial experience is preferred

Comfortable working with a diverse group of clients

Spanish or Cantonese language skills a plus
