Position: Inventory Specialist
Location: Rockford, IL
Hours: 7 am - 3:30 pm (Mon-Fri)

Hours: 7 am - 3:30 pm (Mon-Fri)
Responsibilities :
- Utilize the client's ERP system to review and complete planned material inventory counts.
- Utilize a hand-held barcode scanner to identify floor locations, count container inventory and complete cycle counts.
- Report any system irregularities to the Inventory Control Manager.
- Complete assigned location searches for containers.
- Hand count and update supply/container inventory spreadsheets.
- Respond promptly to all immediate requests made by the Inventory Control Manager.
- Band or wrap loose bundles of cardboard and supplies.
- Regularly replace damaged, worn and faded location labels.
- Identify containers with zero quantities and report for adjustment.
- Use forklift and scissors lifts to replace worn labels and attach new inventory signs.
- Measure and weigh new containers.
Required Skills :
- Must have proficient computer skills.
- Must have experience in Microsoft Windows 10 environment.
- Expertise Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with hand-held barcode scanners.
Preferred Skills:
- Forklift and scissors-lift experience and/or willing to obtain an RTI forklift operator's certificate.
- Previous experience working with ERP systems.
