• Support the specimen collection process and prepare samples for analysis as needed.
• Thoroughly document all lab procedures, provide training for new staff or students, and uphold rigorous laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a safe, clean work environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, with intentions of obtaining ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hiring.
• Maintain current certification throughout the duration of employment.
