Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer specializing in industrial fabrication shop processes to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will focus on optimizing production techniques, ensuring quality standards, work with scrap reduction, and implementing continuous improvement practices within the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and optimize extrusion processes for aluminum products.Develop tooling / machine designs that enhance production efficiency and product quality.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production challenges and implement solutions.Utilize CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD for design and modeling tasks.Conduct heat treatment analysis and incorporate findings into manufacturing processes.Implement Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve productivity.Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational excellence across the manufacturing floor.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, specifically in fabrication, process efficiency, automation equipment.Strong knowledge of aluminum manufacturing and tooling design.Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is required.Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Benefits
