OverviewWe’re seeking an
Infrastructure Administrator to support a
60–75 user satellite office while working closely with centralized IT infrastructure and security teams. This role requires a steady, hands-on operator with strong enterprise networking fundamentals—someone who can maintain local network stability while adhering to corporate standards, security controls, and formal change management processes.
ResponsibilitiesNetwork & Connectivity Support - Support and maintain local LAN/WLAN infrastructure, including Cisco switches and enterprise wireless access points
- Perform switch port configuration, VLAN assignments, and basic routing support
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, latency, and performance issues
- Coordinate with centralized teams on WAN, firewall, and segmentation changes
Security & Compliance - Support firewall connectivity and security policy implementation in coordination with centralized security teams
- Assist with audit preparation and remediation activities (SOX/security controls)
- Follow formal change management and documentation standards
Infrastructure & End-User Support - Provide senior-level escalation support for network and infrastructure incidents
- Support on-site hardware, VoIP phones, printers, and peripherals
- Coordinate ISP issues, circuit troubleshooting, and vendor escalations
- Serve as smart hands for centralized infrastructure and security teams
Collaboration & Documentation - Maintain accurate network diagrams and site documentation
- Partner with system administrators, security engineers, and vendors
- Participate in infrastructure refreshes and site-level improvement initiatives
Qualifications - 5+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure or network administration
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Cisco switches and routers
- Enterprise Wi-Fi (controller-based preferred)
- VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Experience supporting multi-site or satellite office environments
- Familiarity with firewall concepts (Palo Alto exposure a plus)
- Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Exposure to VMware environments
- Basic Azure networking awareness
- ITIL and/or formal change-management experience preferred
